Framed Porcelain Friezes

About the Item

Porcelain friezes by Royal Copenhagen depicting scenes from marble sculptures made by Bretel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) a Danish born sculptor. The friezes are beautifully framed in a gold leaf frame, matted in linen with a gold fillet. The stunning blue backing accentuates the beauty and crispness of these exquisite works of art. These are priced individually, but work well as a pair. We have two currently in stock.
