Inspired by the great abstract expressionists of the early to mid-20th Century, Tapestry Gallery has re-imagined this one-of-a-kind textile art piece using pure artisanal techniques. From concept to execution to completion-all details were accounted for. This hand-woven pashmina wool tapestry was made in Nepal using the ancient art of Tibetan weaving. From its single back field creating a night-scape that houses the motifs at the front to the bright and vibrant blue and red colors and elements, plus its flurry of movements, makes this one-of-a-kind re-imagined hand-woven tapestry a true work of art inspired by great abstract impressionism. Milky white, bright red and powder blue all stand together, breathing life to the movements at the foreground of this magnificent piece of textile art. At the foreground, the abstract figures begin to take on a clever form, allowing viewers to come to their own conclusions regarding their meanings and interpretations. This one-of-kind design re-imagined for mural art features several asymmetrical fields set within each other on top of the initial black one, resulting in further framing that helps create points of interest for the discerning and sophisticated viewer to truly enjoy. Re-imagining your wall space with (optional framed) textile art is the mission of our designer. This one-of-a-kind hand-woven tapestry involved a more complex and longer production process. It took our designer a few weeks to re-imagine the cartoon design and almost 14 weeks for our weavers to complete this piece of art tapestry.
