Simply wonderful first-year-of-release French Moyenne for classic Bond From Russia With Love. We adore Boris Grinsson's design and colours on this beautiful poster. In Sean Connery’s second outing as Bond, James Bond he willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. From Russia With Love remains on of the very best of the James Bond franchise. This is quintessential James Bond! Boris Grinsson (1907 - 1999) was a renowned Russian born French artist famous for drawing the designs for over 2000 French film posters for American, Italian, and French films during a career spanning forty years (from the 1930s to the 1970s). He produced a vast body of work in a variety of genres, including This Gun for Hire (1942), Gilda (1946), The Lady from Shanghai (1948) and From Russia with Love (1963). This original vintage movie poster has been professionally linen-backed is sized an impressive 23 x 31 1/8 inches (plus a little more with the linen). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
