Fused Glass Wall Pocket Vase by Michael and Frances Higgins

About

This colorful, fused glass wall pocket was made at the Higgins Glass Studio. It is likely one of Michael's designs since it utilizes pieces of colored glass arranged between sheets of other glass. Michael favored this technique which beautifully utilizes the captured air bubbles as an integral part of the design. The glass pieces are connected by hammered copper wire with loops at the top for hanging. It can be used as a vase or enjoyed on its own as decorative wall art.

Approximate measurements: 7 3/8" wide x 2 1/8" deep x 31 3/4" long (from the top of the hanging loops to the bottom of the drops)
