About the Item
Unique pair of hand carved wood wall brackets, shelters.
This great quality carved pair of highly decorative and large wall brackets is another one of our recent great finds and to have found them in this excellent condition more than made our day. The hand carved details in the symmetrical floral patterns are simply marvelous and the quality of the faces of the almost life-size busts is second to none. The sculptor must have been inspired by the Indian or Alphonse Mucha world and he or she has done an excellent job in creating these truly wonderful Maharaja busts. The headwear and jewelry are exactly like that of the maharajas and their fine faces are an absolute joy to behold. This beautifully patinated set can be used for all kinds of purposes and their great style and quality will never fail to impress. Thanks to the two integrated hooks on the back they are easy and safe to mount on your wall also.
