Parrot Opus I, Brass Marquetry

About the Item

Brass marquetry painting. Finish: glossy varnish Brass frame Technique rarely used with metal, I associate it with the patina to create colors and effects. This original know-how allows to sublimate the subject by making it alive and bright. The metal has the characteristic of reflecting a large part of the light depending on its orientation. Thus, during the day and according to the lighting, the perception of the work evolves. The way the metal is worked (brushed, polished, textured, engraved) influences the light and the possible reflections. --- Creation : Antoine DARIULE Antoine DARIULE is a metal artist and designer. He produces high-quality objets d'art, furniture and lighting. His favourite material is metal. An ideal material, a symbol of strength and durability, it blends with elegance and ease into his creations. Steel and brass are combined with noble materials to create a singular object. "Brass marquetry, an original skill, is the signature of his workshop in Brittany (France). Imbued with French art and taste, his creations are made as one-off pieces or in limited series. These unique objects can be seen at the DARIULE showroom in Paris VIII. The sculpture "Imaginaire floral" has been selected to be exhibited in a French museum. Her work is also presented at international exhibitions such as "M&O", Salon internationnal du patrimoine at the Louvre.
