This is an amazing and unique set of 64 antique French handmade ceramic tiles. Manufactured Pas de Calais Desvres, circa 1910s. With different stylized designs. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design.
Please note that the piece is for the set!
Size each tile: Inches 4.5 inches (11.1 cm) width x 4.5 inches (11.1 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Size of the panel 36.2 inches (92 cm) width
Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color different and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the historical design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of their age and craftsmanship.
