Zieta is best known for his collection of stools “Plopp” made through the technologist Fidu. With the same principle Zieta Prozessdesign conceived mirror collections made of stainless steel called “Tafla”, “Rondo” and “Rondel”. Two laser-cut metal sheets are first welded together before air is injected between them until they separate from each other forming a three-dimensional object.
Since he was a child, Oskar Zieta has been a huge fan of ultralightness and mobility. Today he is the creator of one of the lightest chairs on Earth, and a constant traveller between the universes of art and engineering. Throughout his life and career, Oskar has strongly believed in the power of determination and consistent perseverance in achieving goals. Success is a continuous search for your better self and better solutions—constant improvement and humility in the face of setbacks.
