Charles Lamson Swasey (American New Bedford Massachusetts, 1815-1888).
This wonderful grand tour graphite on paper drawing was done in December 1839 and depicts the remains of the Great Parthenon in Greece.
This piece is housed in a well carved wood frame. Signed and titled to the paper and verso.
