Indian ink and wash on paper depicting a pair of owls, in a black molded wood frame in Dutch style. Signed and dated 2012 at the top right corner. Signed with a monogram, as a tribute to the masters of this Asian technique.
Laszlo Tibay (1962-) is a Hungarian artist living in France. Known for his funny stylized animal sculptures, he also paint delicate ink washes. Cats, elephants and owls are his favourite subjects.

Laszlo Tibay is a Hungarian artist and sculptor, born in 1962, in Szombathely, Hungary and currently residing in France. Known for his funny stylized animal sculptures, Laszlo also paints delicate ink washes. Cats, elephants and owls are his favourite subjects. He predominantly works with iron, steel and wood.
