Portrait of a French Woman (1817 Dessin)

About the Item

Drawing of a French woman, signed and dated “1817.” The woman wears a “troubadour” ensemble that could reflect either her *région d'origine* or point to the Romantic, new-medieval vogue of the post-Napoleonic period. She’s framed in a modern rustic frame with an acrylic cover.
