An American illustrator Joseph Krush was born May 18, 1918, in Camden, New Jersey. He studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art. & worked as a graphic designer for O.S.S. during the war.
He was a courtroom sketch artist at the Nuremberg Trials 1945–1946.
As well as illustrated many Harcourt books & record album covers.
for which he developed expertise in many reproduction processes which he used on his freelance pieces.
