Rubdish Ramen

About the Item

The Ramen soup is made from rest over waste ingredients found alongside a highway in Rotterdam. Rubdish is a conceptual visualization of waste finding it’sway back onto your plate. It is the transformation of rubbish into an appetizing rub-dish. The image has an alienating effect. From far it is perceived as a composition of food in a modern still life. Moving closer closer you discover that it is something else. An art piece that can be a great addition for a modern kitchen environment or dining area. The Rubdish project is a co-creation by self appointed rubdish chef artist-designer Diederik Schneemann and photographer Aldwin van Krimpen.
