Lucca Chmel (1911-1999) was an important Austrian Mid-Century photographer.
She achieved fame for her architecture photography and worked for the best
Mid-Century Austrian architects of the 1950s and 1960s such as Erich Boltenstern, Oswald Haerdtl and Roland Rainer.

The artist ran a large Photography Studio in Vienna and was hired by renown companies such as Thonet, Augarten, Kalmar and others.

Beside modern architecture she documented famous Austrian Buildings from the Baroque tot he Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) Era.
