1941 Vintage New Hampshire Art Deco Style Ski Promotion Poster by Hechenberger

About the Item

A colorful Art Deco style ski promotion poster for the White Mountains in the state of New Hampshire, one of two posters created for the state by the artist Lou Hechenberger (original work signed lower right). Lower left reads “Copies of this poster issued by the state planning and development commission may be purchased for the price of 50 cents from the commission in Concord,” and the lower right reads “Copyright 1941, by the New Hampshire State Planning and Development Commission,” matted under plexiglass and framed in a simple wooden ebonized frame. The poster is in very good overall condition, with good retained color and only a few very minor edge imperfections. Some screw holes present in frame from a previous installation. Dimensions: Approximately 36 in H x 24 in W, sight; 47.25 in H x 34 in W x 1 in D, framed.
