1970 Rolling Stones, Gimme Shelter Original Vintage Poster

About the Item

Conceived as a documentary following the final weeks of The Rolling Stones' 1969 USA Tour, "Gimme Shelter" culminates with the Altamont Free Concert. Featuring classic performances of iconic songs such as "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", and the title song, this is an all-time great music documentary. With the tagline at the top of the poster reading "The music that thrilled the world... And the killing that stunned it!" the climax Altamont show was a disaster after the Hells Angels were hired as security. This beautiful and vibrant rare US One-Sheet poster is from the original release of the film in 1970 and is in fantastic condition.
