Written and directed by Mike Hodges in his feature debut, "Get Carter" was released in 1971. Receiving a somewhat mixed reception upon its original release, it wasn't until the 1990s that the film gained a cult following and was re-evaluated as a classic of 1970s British film. Michael Caine stars as the iconic London gangster Jack Carter and is depicted in this original release 1971 UK Quad with the legendary artwork from Arnaldo Putzu. The films events and key characters are captured within Carter's body in gorgeous colour in this beautiful and very rare design that reads "Caine is Carter". The intricacy and detail of this wonderful design is one of our personal favourite film posters of all time. The piece is in mint condition and is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
