1976 Montreal Olympic Games - John Paul Jones Original Vintage Poster
About the Item
American artist John Paul Jones was one of several artist commissioned to create fine art posters in promotion of the 1976 Montreal Summer Olympic Games. The games, the first and only Summer games to be held in Canada, was won by the Soviet Union, with West Germany surprisingly coming in second place.
This beautiful screen printed poster is typical of Jones' printmaking style and is hand signed by the artist. The very rare piece is in mint condition.
