Beautifully designed poster from 1980 advertising the luxury Swiss shoe brand Bally. With artwork from French graphic designer and poster artist Fix-Masseau, known for his collaborations with the Venice Simplon Orient-Express.
This piece known as "Ballet", depicting a figure tying their shoes in front of a dark background fits in perfectly with Bally's long and wide history of illustrated posters. Their long running collaboration with Bernard Villemot & other artists created a number of landmark artworks from the 1960s-90s.
