Original Vintage Poster for Air France created by Alphonse Dehedin in 1952. Additional Details: Advertising poster for Air France made by Alphonse Dehédin in 1952. It features the company logo: the pegasus/horse with a dragon's tail also called "the shrimp" (1933-1975). Emphasis is placed on the diversity of services offered by the airline "Transporte Tout, Partout". In the background, a four-engined aircraft flies above a terrestrial globe, while in the foreground all kinds of parcels are ready to be sent: wooden boxes, suitcases, bouquets of flowers, animals (cage of a bird) or works of art (a clock for example). Air France is a French airline based at Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports. It serves nearly 243 destinations (with the Air France-KLM group), both intercontinental and domestic. In October 2013, Air France celebrated its 80th anniversary: an Air France A380 was repainted for this occasion. The Air France company was created for the first time in 1933, formed from the merger of four other companies: Air Orient, Air Union, CIDNA and Farman lines, under the decision of the French Parliament (formerly called SCELA). The same year of its creation, in October, a ceremony was organized at Le Bourget, with the president of the company, Ernest Roume, former president of the company Air Orient.
