The serie Diesel "Fashion Victims" won a Silver Lion, an international prize for advertising photography. Diesel was a bit shocked by the reactions to the "Fashion Victims" series. "The advertising agency requested all the photos," Olaf said in an interview in 1998. 'They want to introduce a more cautious version in a number of countries.
