If there are imperfections they are marginal and imperceptible) Additional Details: Poster produced by Raymond Gid for an exhibition on the Sahara at the Musée d'Ethnographie du Trocadéro on May 15 or October 28, 1934. This exhibition was under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education and approved by the Director of the Museum, P. Lemoine . A photo of Pierre Ichac takes place on a single-colored blue background, representing a Tuareg mounted on his camel. Pierre Ichac (1901-1978) is a French photographer, filmmaker, reporter, explorer and ethnologist. He was a great connoisseur of Africa, Sahara then Black Africa. The Musée d'Ethnographie du Trocadéro, created in 1878, became the Musée de l'Homme in 1937. In 1928, the anthropologist and Americanist Paul Rivet took over the management of the Museum and obtained its attachment to the chair of anthropology at the Museum National d'Histoire naturelle which he then held. Raymond is a French poster designer and typographer. In the 1930s, he rubbed shoulders with Raoul Dufy, Le Corbusier, Paul Colin, and even André Lurçat.
