Original antique British World War One recruitment propaganda poster - Are YOU in this? Designed by the British Army officer and founder of the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides Lt. Gen. Sir R. S. S. Baden Powell (Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell; 1857-1941), featuring men and women working for the war effort including a soldier and Royal Navy sailor operating a cannon on the battlefront below a Union Jack flag with a young Boy Scout helping, a nurse in uniform ready to look after the wounded, a lady counting bullets and a man working in an industrial factory with a smartly dressed man walking idly by in his suit and hat, smoking a cigarette and looking with surprise and interest at everyone joining in, the text below in stylised black letters. Published by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee London. Printed by Johnson Riddle and Co Ltd London. Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored paper losses in bottom corners, pencil in bottom right corner, backed on linen.
