About the Item
Additional notes: The brilliant red of the racer is offset by the subdued pastels of the Riviera background in Ham’s design. He chose to show Lord Howe in his Maserati, but the 1934 race was dominated by Alfa Romeos; they took three of the first five places, with Guy Moll driving the leading car.
