Original vintage advertising poster for Het Vaderland een goede krant / The Fatherland A Good Newspaper featuring a fun design depicting a kangaroo with a joey in its pouch, both reading the newspaper against a red background with handwriting style text diagonally above and below in white lettering. Het Vaderland independent newspaper was founded in The Hague in 1869; it became a regional supplement of Algemeen Dagblad in 1972 and was dissolved in 1982. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses on edges, restored tears, staining, browning, backed on linen.
