Original vintage Art Deco poster advertising British radio telecommunication services - Speed your message via Imperial Eastern Empiradio or Marconi - featuring a stunning geometric design of a red and yellow winged stylised bird in a pointed bullet shape with blue static waves and lightning strikes against the white background, linking the bold black and red lettering above and flying down to a point at the rest of the text in white against the black background below. Imperial and International Communications Limited Electra House Moorgate EC2. Artwork by the notable commercial artist and poster designer Albert Edward Halliwell (1905-1987). Printed by Waterlow and Sons Ltd. Good condition, restored tear through image on top edge, minor staining, backed on linen.
