Original vintage art exhibition poster - Vincent van Gogh gemalde aquarelle zeichnungen / paintings watercolours drawings - organised by the Volkswagen werk AG Stadthalle Worfsburg and held from 18 February to 2 April 1967. Colourful artwork featuring Van Gogh's 1888 self-portrait depicting himself as a painter wearing a blue jacket and holding an artist palette and brushes viewed from the back of a canvas on an easel in the foreground. The notable Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) was famous for his self-portraits as well The Starry Night, Almond Blossom, Wheatfield With Crows, Irises, Sunflowers and Cypresses. Good condition, repaired tears, pinholes, creasing.

Vincent van Gogh
Vincent van Gogh, born on March 30, 1853, in the Netherlands, was a Dutch post-impressionist painter. He is known for his emotionally charged and vibrant paintings, such as "Starry Night" and "Sunflowers." Van Gogh struggled with mental health issues throughout his life and tragically died by suicide on July 29, 1890, at the age of 37. Despite his short and troubled life, his art has had a lasting and influential impact on the world of art.
