Original vintage movie poster for the classic film directed by George Lucas - Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope - starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, David Prowse as Darth Vader, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO and Kenny Baker as R2-D2. 'Style D' peeling poster design by Charles White III and Drew Struzan featuring the title text and tagline A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, C3PO and R2 D2, Darth Vader, Han Solo and Chewbacca in the foreground, as if the poster was pasted on wood, and the face of Obi-Wan Kenobi still visible on a torn poster style image behind it. Released in 1977, this movie was the first episode of the original Star Wars trilogy. Signed by the artist Charles White III. Good condition, creasing.
