Original vintage poster published by the General Post Office GPO - 8,000,000 telephone calls a day - featuring a great graphic design by the notable British artist Pat Keely (Patrick Cokayne Keely; 1901-1970) depicting the large numbers in deep red across the image with telephone handsets as the commas and their wires as curved and straight lines, birds flying in the sky above and the stylised text in deep red and black lettering diagonally below. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Vincent Brooks, Day & Son. Horizontal. Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored folds, restored paper losses, restored pinholes, staining, backed on linen.
