Original vintage cruise ship travel poster advertising Plymouth and Panama to the Spanish Main & West Indies The largest and fastest mail steamers from England by French Line (founded in 1861 - Compagnie Generale Transatlantique; CGT). Stunning artwork depicting a colourful view of a steamship sailing on a calm sea with the bright sunset reflected on the water and green and red tropical plants, flowers and palm trees in the foreground, a French flag flying on the ocean liner with the text on the border above and below. Printed by E.A. Lapierre, Paris. Good condition, creasing, small paper loss in bottom left corner, backed on linen.
