Original IArgentine film poster for Rebecca, 1940.
Daphne du Maurier's gripping 1938 novel was made into a film in 1940 by Alfred Hitchcock. It was Hitchcock's first project in America, and the first that he made whilst under contract with David O. Selznick. The film stars Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine, and was nominated for eleven Oscars, winning with Best Picture and Cinematography. The size given is before framing the framed size is 45 x 30 1/4 in. (114.2 x 77.5 cm) The poster is in excellent condition, with the colors remaining very bright. With only very minor restoration to folds.
This poster is conservation linen backed and framed in an Obeche wood frame with card mounts and UV Plexiglas it would be shipped boxed and sent out by Federal Express.
