Air France poster from 1935 produced by Vinci to promote tourism between Paris and Sweden, a country in Northern Europe.
The poster tells us that by leaving Paris at 7:45 a.m., the passenger will arrive at 10:35 p.m. the same evening in Stockholm. A plane connects Paris and Copenhagen (Denmark) or Malmoe, via Brussels (Belgium) and Hamburg (Germany). From Copenhagen or Malmoe, the passenger will disembark to take a train which will take them to Stockholm.
In Stockholm the tourist will have the opportunity to visit the Stockholm City Hall (City Hall) which can be seen on the poster. Designed by the architect Ragnar Östberg, it was built between 1911 and 1923. It is a free reinterpretation of medieval town halls in brick Gothic style. This medieval style is also widespread in Sweden and considered a national style.
The shrimp (or Seahorse or Winged Horse), emblem of Air France from 1933 to 1976, is visible in the C of France.
