19th Century Framed Botanical by Leopold Kny

About the Item

19th century framed botanical Wall chart of a botanical cell structure produced by Leopold Kny. He was a professor and research scientist in the field of plant physiology at the University of Berlin in the late 1800s. His lithographs are known for their incredible detail and were widely used in classrooms long after he passed away in 1916. This one was made by printmaker E. Laue. Beautiful, graphic, unusual and interesting.
