About the Item
Elegant hand-pressed print representing representing vintage bottles of perfume marketed and produced by the ancient firm H. Roberts and C. In this one we find the parfume called "Claire de Lune", like the most famous Chopin's piano variation.
These illustrations are reproductions from vintage ones and in this case are hand painted in blue grey colors and gold nuances.
English chemist Henry Roberts (1819-1879) left England in the first half of the 19th century for health reasons and settled in Florence, where in 1843, at 17 Via Tornabuoni, he founded the H. Roberts Pharmaceutical Laboratory. Roberts & Co. English and American Chemist and Druggist. Roberts' pharmacy also sold branded wines, spirits, groceries and cosmetics.
