Untitled print of an Indian nobleman and noblewoman in a sedan chair. This print originates from: 'Voyage aux Indes Orientales et a la Chine (..)', by Pierre Sonnerat, published in Paris in 1782. Artists and Engravers: Pierre M. Sonnerat (1745-1814) was a French naturalist and draughtsman.

    Repaired: Left margin is extended with contemporary paper and acid-free archival tape. Condition: Excellent, given age. Two original folds, as issued. A few small stains in middle of the print. Left margin cropped to the image edge, extended with contemporary paper and acid-free archival tape. General age-related toning.
