18th Century French Provincial Miniature Armoire

About the Item

An 18th Century French Provincial miniature sample armoire from the Burgundy region. Made of walnut and burl of oak with pine as a secondary wood. A rare early armoire, nicely crafted with subtle carved details and beautiful wood grain to the burl panels. Bottom dovetailed drawer is lined with tin compartments. Original brass hardware. Lock and keys in working condition. Waxed patina. Hooks have been added so that it may be hung as a small wall cabinet. As always, more photos available upon request.
