About the Item
The Dancing Shelf, the result of a collaboration between Uchronia and the Prelle silk factory to mark the "Waving Silk" exhibition in January 2023. This shelf is made exclusively in France from brushed steel and Prelle selvedge.
The aim of the exhibition was to showcase Prelle's unused and waste fabrics and give them a second life. The selvedges add random touches of colour and warm up the shelf as if it had been dressed in fabric for the winter.
