Unique, One-of-a-Kind Mahogany and Copper "Boyle Height Shelf"

About the Item

This one-off shelf comes from Taidgh O'Neill's "Boyle Height" series of sculptural, wall-mounted artistic wooden shelves. In this series, O'Neill explores new formalism inspired by the Postmodern landscape of his home, Los Angeles. Through intricate joinery, and surprising composition, he makes each object appear broken, but stable. O'Neill considers this work dynamic and fully activated by the end user's dressing with books, vases or other objets d'art. Each shelf is constructed by Taidgh O'Neill in his Los Angeles studio.
