Codri is the standard in modern furniture. Our name is inspired by the forests of Moldova, Codri. Codri is a Romanian word translated to forest in English. The wood that we make the best modern furniutre in the world with is from the “codri”. Our Materials
The very best materials in the world are used to make Codri Modern Furniture. We utilize leathers from Italy, stains from Germany and the wood from the forest in Moldova. Codri Modern Furniture is owned and operated by Gheroghe Dragancea. Gheroghe is the definition of the American dream. Gheorghe was born and raised in Moldova and immigrated to the United States. He worked as a truck driver supporting his family, while working to build his furniture business. Long nights, time way from family and a refusal to give up are a testament to Gheorghe’s persistence and humility.
