Heart Stopping Gothic Giltwood and Bas Relief Wall Art Found Object
About the Item
An incredible eye catching piece of wall art mined from a 19th century French church. The wall sculpture is a Gothic shape having carved giltwood and beautifully painted bas relief art at the top of a saint with cherubs. “Confrerie des Dames de Sacre Coeur” is written on the top, and “Paroisse de Char e lt” on the bottom. Original names of commemorated congregants are still intact on pieces of paper against a bright cobalt blue background.
