Wall Hanging Minerva
Beautiful hand carved wood sculpture of Minerva, in Roman religion, the goddess of handicrafts, the professions, the arts, and, later, war; she was commonly identified with the Greek Athena. Some scholars believe that her cult was that of Athena introduced at Rome from Etruria. This wood ornament was probably piece of Large furniture, and made to be used as decorative wall hanging or mounted on a steel base. Great decorating of any room Size without steel stand 11” high x 14”.5 wide x 5”.5 deep.
