About the Item
The wall sculpture "We" is part of a project called Sutra and is inaugurated with a first cycle of works called Apneas.
The term Sutra comes from Sanskrit and literally means thread.
This project is the result of the deep elaborations of existential experiences, which have particularly marked our lives. Experiences that left us breathless.
Deciding to stitch up the emotional fabric will bring new life while preserving the memory of the event is the evolutionary development that follows the moment of acceptance.
While the use of stone represents established memory, the symbol of the passage of time, but also the elevation to a spiritual state.
The "We" Sutra is made of white immersion-glazed ceramic, the insert is made of travertine, and the back of the sculpture is covered with leather.
