ART NOUVEAU RAREST THONET COAT RACK (AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED): Finest quality of BENTWOOD manufacturing. Beech wood / MAHOGANY STAINED / handwork of finest quality / refurbished by hand. There are two hooks existing, for hanging garments there / additionally, a pair of containers for storing umbrellas (brass liners for keeping dripping water included) is attached to coat rack, too / finally, some hats can be put on a shelf existing at top piece / there is a large mirror attached to coat rack's middle area - it is surrounded by most remarkable framework: these are struttings mainly consisting of vertical rods of which the umbrella's containers are constructed, too. - Certainly this coat rack of most elegant appearance is an attraction of each antechamber / foyer ! PLEASE NOTE: MODEL ATTRIBUTED TO JOSEF HOFFMANN (1870 / Bohemia - 1956 / Vienna): - world-famous architect (for example Sanatorium in Purkersdorf / Lower Austria & Palais Stoclet in Brussels) - designer of interiours (for example: Cabaret Fledermaus) as well as of furniture pieces and objects of daily use 1897: Josef Hoffmann was one of the founders of Viennese Secession he and J. M.
