A stunning amethyst and gold statement bangle by Amy Burton, the bangle centred on a beautiful antique cushion-cut amethyst of rich purple hue weighing 123.70cts, claw set and surrounded by an asymmetric, three dimensional, sculptural maze of 18ct yellow gold, the apparently random structure of the piece belying the incredibly detailed and carefully thought out tapering design with side hinge and concealed tongue and box clasp. Setting 18ct yellow gold with London assay and makers marks Weight 180.1 grams Dimensions Inner circumference 7", centre front 2" wide tapering to 1/2" at centre back Condition New Directors Notes The Disorient collection is characterised by strong architectural lines that cleverly play with ideas of volume, geometry and negative space to create bold sculptural jewels that are substantial but also light, open and feminine.
