Antique Wide Silver Bangle Circa 1890
About the Item
Discover this stunning wide Victorian bangle. A wonderful thought-provoking piece of jewellery featuring an engraved scene of birds, branches, and a waterway. The birds have been highlighted with yellow and red gold which adds beauty and gives the scene the appearance of "life".
The scene is framed by a decorative row at the top and a polished band at the bottom. Some of the engraved pattern travels over the polished band, adding to the natural beauty of the pieces. The sides of this wide bangle are granulated. It is hinged and opens and closes with a tongue and snap catch.
It is a beautiful Antique bangle in excellent quality. A lovely representation of the silver bangles that were common at this time.
