About the Item

A fine and impressive antique Victorian pearl and 20 karat yellow gold bangle; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This impressive antique boxed pearl bangle retailed by Garrard & Co. Ltd, has been crafted in 20k yellow gold. The anterior portion of this fine Victorian bangle is embellished with three six leaf floral designs with a feature pearl set to the centre of each. The six petals around the flower heads are also embellished with individual seed pearls. The main body of this impressive 1890’s bangle has a pierced rib style design consisting of three plain yellow gold parallel bars. The bangle secures with an integrated push fit catch to one side, and benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain. This antique bangle has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 20k gold. This fine bangle is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation case. The case has a satin and velvet lined interior which displays the retailer’s mark ‘Garrard & Co. Ltd – by appointment to H.M. The Queen – Goldsmiths and Crown Jewelrs’. Condition This impressive Victorian bangle is fine quality set with natural pearls. The bangle is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
