About the Item

A fine and impressive 1.77 carat amethyst and citrine, 1.40 carat tourmaline and seed pearl, 9 karat yellow gold bangle; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections This fine and impressive Victorian multi-gemstone bangle has been crafted in 9 k yellow gold. The anterior face of the delicate frame is ornamented with a bud, leaf and flower design setting. The bracelet displays two amethysts, a citrine and two tourmalines, all heart cut within a flower shaped bezel setting. The delicate bud and leaf design that flanks the central arrangement on either side is embellished with a total of twenty six seed pearls. The hinged bangle secures to one side with an integrated push fit clasp and benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain. The bangle is hallmarked to the reverse of the bud and leaf setting with the mark for 9k gold (9ct) and has been engraved to the interior with the inscription 'J.D To E.M.D Feb 7. 1896'. This impressive antique Victorian bangle is supplied with two independent diamond grading cards. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
