Vintage Silver Armlet by Swedish Master Claës Giertta Made Year 1962
About the Item
This silver armlet is decorated with something that resembles the ancient Egyptian sacred written symbols hieroglyphics and different stones such as, an aventurine quartz, a carnelian, a tiger eye stone, a malachite and a turquoise.
The design of the armlet is powerful and radiates timelessness and elegance. You do not have to be an Indian bride to wear it, but if you do wear it with a summer dress or any other sleeveless attire you will probably feel like one.
Do you know that Claës Giertta, in 1969, designed the Swedish music industry’s then newly established Swedish Grammy trophy, i.e. the Swedish music industry’s equivalent to the United States Grammy, and that the Giertta design of the Swedish Grammy was kept until 2007?
