Coppola e Toppo Aqua Glass Demi Parure. Composed of dark aqua glass bead earclips and a four strand dark aqua glass bead bracelet with decorated gilt clasp. Excellent condition. Unsigned.

The Coppola e Toppo company was formed in the late 1940′s by brother and sister designer duo, Bruno Coppola and Lyda Toppo in Milan, Italy. After small commissions for Dior and Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli commissioned a line of faux coral bead jewelry, which launched them to the top of the couture fashion echelon. Pucci and Valentino followed with more commissions. This allowed them to increase the number of their jewelry designs under their own trademark, “Made in Italy by Coppola e Toppo”.
