Ooh now let me start off by saying that I'm totally biased on this piece because a good antique gold curb bracelet is absolutely one of my favourite pieces.
Classic, timeless, rich, chunky, the Victorians were well ahead of their time with many jewellery pieces and the chunky gold curb bracelet is certainly one, such a versatile and wearable piece of jewellery and oh so stylish.
This big lush gold curb design is one that has been loved and copied for many decades and what could be better than getting the real deal?
This is such a beautiful bracelet, large chunky 15ct yellow gold links, hollow so easy to wear, it fastens at the front with a substantial antique 9ct yellow gold heart shaped padlock clasp.
It's so nice to find these chunkier bracelets in 15ct gold and they are always in such high demand.
A bracelet that will work with so many styles and stand the test of fashion time over and over again.
This would make for a superb gift for someone special or as a treat for yourself.
Marks and era:
Late Victorian era, c1890s, bracelet is stamped 15 on the two end links, the heart padlock is stamped 9ct and makers mark JG&S.
